Photographer's Note
It's been only few days since I became a member of TE, and already I feel the urge to show others what I've seen through my lense over the years.Sometime quality of the photos are not going to be that great because when I took these pictures I was not thinking about posting them on the web.
So, here we go, December 1999, my first stop is Delhi, India. This picture was taken in front of the Red Fort.It was early evening and the Charmer was ready to go home but at my urging he decided to do a last show for me.
I cropped the photo to get the crowd out of the way.
Let me know what you think.

Hi Pranab,
A big show with this dangerous snake. Really interesting moment of the show. I am amazed how close is a hand of this brave man to the snake. Otherwise the photo is very good. A good decision to show a crowd around him.

Hi Pranab,
I like the rich culture of India. You captured a daily life scene. Many people stays around the snake enchanter. Good composition, light and colors. I like it.

I hadn't seen this one before. Very interesting subject. Good point of view which allows us to see the interaction between the charmer and the snake (you can see how focused he is). Regards, Yvonne

Hi Pranab,
This is just an amazing photo!! You've captured well the intense interactio n between the man and the snake. I also fing the detail of his instrument very interesting. That snake is huge, he must be five feet long. And then I look at the flat open basket. It almost looks like he just carries the snake wrapped in that blanket??
Regards, Pat
