Photographer's Note

Palampur is town on the foothills of Dhauladhar Range in the Himalayas. It's said to be the tea capital of northwest India.

Palampur gets its name from "pulum" which means water in common parlance. Lying in the beautiful Kangra Valley it is criss crossed by numerous rivers and streams.

Palampur in the Himalayan province of Himachal Pradesh, is one of the major stations on the medium guage railway route from Pathankot in Punjab to Joginder Nagar in Himachal.

This photo is a bit over-exposed. I had just one shot left and this is the only photo I could take at this place.
