Photographer's Note

Taken in the blue city of Jodhpur. This shot combines two of my favourite subjects - doors and bicycles.
Not much else interesting to say about it, I just liked the door.

The door is fantastic, the blue color is lovely. i like Jodphur, my favorite city in Rajasthan for sure.

You've spelt 'Jodhpur' wrong wonder if you can correct it now.
Anyway that doesn't take away from the composition at all Wanda...glad you found time to make a posting.

Hi Wanda,
the door - structure, form and color - is wonderful and well embedded in this marvelous wall.
The bikes are - I hope you are not offended by this - for the photo of less interest.

Hi Wanda,
The combination of the blue of the door with the pink sandstone of the building gives this an immediate impact.
There's a wealth of interesting little details to enjoy here, although I wish you had included the rest of the archway to the right of the door.

Great view of an old door and art job around it.
Two dominant colors in your picture (Blue and Pink-Orange)are deep and perfect.

athough i dislike consentrated color or high contrast color on an image, i think this one is different! the clay and blu color blend in well.

Hi Wanda,
I had missed this one when you had posted. The blue door typifies Jodhpur. Thats Agarwal written in Hindi, on the door, one of the more common Marwari communities from this area. Well framed.
