Photographer's Note
We wanted to visit a dancing school but it was closed at this period of the year. In our way back, I don't know why the driver was crazy controlling the rickshaw ... instead of grabbing something to secure myself, I took my camera and try to take a photo (throughout the back window) of rickshaw following us ...

Ha, this is a great dynamic bw shot Alain, love the tilt, the mysterious ghost of the biker, the two pedestrians in the back... very well seen and with that wonderful grit, it gives a real feeling of what it must be like...
excellent!

Alain: another very weird one from your "windows in transit" series. I think these shots of yours are vastly under-rated here on TE. I appreciate them though and they'll stay in the favorites box. regards, c

Salut Alain,
comment vas-tu?

Wow! Man, this is something! A lucky one no doubt, but you must have waited for the luck moment to happen. One of course will critisize the vacant foreground, but to me the foreground enhances the ephemeral quality of the ghostly reflection, its fleeting moment, making that moment even more fleeting. As if the scooter just floated off this vacant space. Terrific black and white too.

salut alain,
old style documentary photo, with a candid-like view on the city,
quite interesting to look at it in this way, your intention, all right, could have been to photograph that rickshaw but in fact the veehicle is yet one of the town-puzzles,
nice work,
j.

Great shot again Alain, you have me wondering when you're going to run out of such great shots from India. Great natural border you've created here to give an artistic look, and once again love the grit of the scene.

Tres sympa...

Most of the time rickshaw driver go crazy..
It has few reason..
1) May be beautiful girl seating in rickshaw
2) May be Non-Indian is in rickshaw
3) he love to drive so..
4) May be he wants to avoid police..
5) Some is dircting camera to him from somewhere..
:D
It is difficult to drive when rickshaw is running infront of you..since it is hard to know where it will take turn..U think of right & it turn to left..
Crazy vechical many times with crazy drivres..
Just nice Documentry work..
