Haven't made new photo for ages ... running out of time ;o) ! No idea what to show here. Let's go for this one, back to oldies from my hard disk.

Madurai (India), nearby the Vaigai river.

Why 'Serendipity' ?
I saw those kids running towards me, just few seconds to get ready and suddenly a pair of hands jumped into my pov asking them to slow down ... Lucky me.

Really good to see oyu posting again. I've been away for a while but now im back. Another gem of a black and white. Love the vertical frame and those arms willing them to stop a great moment beautifully captured.

Salut Alain. Je suis content de te voir de retour sur le site, non seulement parce que tu es un photographe talentueux, mais aussi parce que tes interventions, tes commentaires, tes notes sont toujours appréciées. J'aime beaucoup ton choix pour ce retour, la conversion noir et blanc bien équilibrée, avec ce vignetage qui recentre le regard vers les enfants qui courent. Le "jeu" de mains résulte à merveille. Superbe image.

Je compte : houlà, fichtre et diantre... 3 mois presque 4 déjà depuis ta dernière photo, le temps de connaitre la température d'un biberon au degré près rien qu'en passant le dos de la main sur la tétine.
ça fait bien plaisir de te revoir poster.

C'est pas une interdiction ce geste, c'est une invitation à danser! Encore une fois ces indiens, ils doivent avoir des cours de "bouger de main" dès tout petit!

Hello Alain.
Well the timing was quite fortunate for you. Catching the children all in mid stride, all in different positions creates alot of eye-candy in your photograph. The outstretched arms give that added element taking this photo out of the advanced ordinary to the extraordinary. The tonality of the B&W is great, super classic grey scale.
If I was to give some critical feedback, it would be that the photo feels a little heavy to the left side...not really though, just a petty argument.

Great b&w, what a capture of daily life. The arms framing the boys running towards you. They are full of emotion. Nice pov. Anyhow well done.

c'est vrai qu'elle est cool cette image! ces mains sorties de nul part donne un coté très particulier à l'ensemble! et toujours ces sourires! Une photo pleine de vie!

Eh bien celleci, c'est de la grande photo, tout simplement, Alain. Qui d'entre nous n'en serait pas fier...? Le bras (encore une fois) qui dirige pour ainsi dire, toute la circulation, ton point de vue extrement bas, tout conspire as ce petit (pourquoi donc etit???) chef d'oeuvre.

Great to see you back Alain. Beautiful tones here from the dark skin of the boy to the vignetting and grey clouds. Real sense of freedom given off here as the kids run happily down the street.

Oh man Al,

this is blowing me away. What a great shot. Seredipity is right, just look at that face. The arm going onto the frame is what takes this shot over the top for me. Welcome back, it seems youve been inactive thoughmaybe I just missed your posts due to my inactivity on TE.

Something incredibly energetic I found in this photo...
And a huge chunk of solid, mature photography...
A photography with all its possibilities which only the lens can provide...
