Photographer's Note
There was a shortcut path to the train station from our hotel. I decided to take it to avoid the usual touristic area. That was noon, very warm weather, life slowed down (??) the rickshaw was in 'business-break' ... I was surprised to see how this hand seemed to open a curtain for an invitation to discover life in this area.
Thanks,
Alain -

Amicalement,

Im surprised you could hang onto such quality for so long before uploading it. Some beautiful colour here, lovely bokeh, and a nice crisp clean shot in general. Personally the arm to me looks like something from a dead body, far from inviting!

Hi Alain
Great colors. Very sharp with good detail. Nice dof which really sets the scene. Great capture of daily life. Well done.

Salut Alain, wonderful work, the details, that fine hand, the blue stoned-ring on his finger, the graceful, veined arm in a to me unusual position. Colours, composition are both exquisite. Nice to see your work again,

funny how you can look at the thumbnail and tell immediately it was taken in india... those colours.. a good catch, a nice compo, and that hand is beautiful, love the ring.. fine bokeh, my only criticism is to have had a lower pov so that the other rickshaw and the woman would be positioned more to the middle level, thus making the bottom left less empty...

Very nice composition...your typical touch, with nearly abstract foreground in sharp focus and a mirage-like dreamy bokeh of more human elements. Excellent inner eye.

Alain,
Lovely image and i really like the symbolism of him opening the path to you. Very well seen and the colours are so gorgeously Indian!
Cheers
