Taken a few minutes before the evening at Dodital, Uttaranchal. I had to be very careful to avoid attracting it's attention. Finally got close enough to get this shot with the max possible zoom :)

the name of this bird in latin, is Upupa epops, in case you do not know. Then you can find the name in all languages form the latin (international) one. A beautiful shot with this bird that is normally not so familiar.
