Photographer's Note
“One of the illusions of life is that the present hour is not the critical, decisive hour. Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year. No man has learned anything rightly, until he knows that every day is Doomsday.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Namaste Senthil. Brilliant shot to accompany your title, quote and central idea. It is a mesmerizing picture, an illusionist's creation.I suppose that if he is blind,it would add many more dimensions to your theme. Excellent work Senthil. Maya is all around. Regards. Klaudio.

Great shot and well photographed. Although I don,t think that I could live with a picture hung on my wall as the image has can disorientate you if you look at it to long!

Senthil: yes, very Escher-esque, but the sunglasses and the toy cars complete the exposition of absurdity here. congrats, c

Hello,
The power of evocation of this photo is very strong. There is quite a message that everybody can interprate by himself based on his own experience.
Moreover with the pattern of the pavement, the photo is graphical and quite abstract without any reference. We are only seeing this scene.

Senthil,
a shot with a certain out-earthly mood. The composition with the person sitting in the right upper corner and his toy entering the left lower corner is absolutely at its best. The colorful floor adds a lot to the image.
The title is somewhat debatetable. I do not agree at all with it, but I'm not as versatile in words as Waldo Emerson. Actually he isn't saying that life is an illusion, but he is talking about one of the illusions that we live with during our entire life and I agree 100% with his words.
Nevertheless, a great shot with a title and note that puts us to think about life, its meaning ... or maybe lack of meaning ... !

The illusions is a real eye catcher on this image.TFS.

unusual...
one would expect to see yet another classical photo from india where someone is contemplating in silence his life... here - we have a symbiosis of the contemplating man and a contemporary toy driving him down to earth...
lovely work...

Hello Senthil,
The image, with the remarkable floor pattern, a veritable MC Escher mathematical tiling, that looks so three-dimensional. You've chosen a very good angle, and the religious man is very good to have in the photo, providing scale, perspective and a modicum of human presence.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Senthil,
I have looked at this wonder a number of times, so it's time I write something about. It's quite striking visually, for the colours and the dazzling pattern of the floor and the clever compo, which puts the toy and the man in the diagonal. Then there is everything that it evokes or makes us think about. The title is very well chosen - what may be the perception of reality of that blind man placed in an environment that "cries out loud to our eyes"?
Very inspired indeed!
Regards, José.

Great geometry. The expression of the guy, the elimination of other subjects and the variation of colours over the frame are perfect!
