Photographer's Note
This was the third time , I've been to Bali.
I love Bali but its geting too commercialized esp Kuta.
I always stayed a week in Ubud and a week in Sanur ( this photo taken ).
I guess it's depanding on the seasonal winds and heavy rain or the flow of the ocean ,
ton of trash washing up on the beach. And it's getting worst every year.
Still, there are some beaches which are 'trash-free' , I would reckon in the east of Bali.
Where it's more peaceful and less tourists, presumably I'll go next time ???
In the WS1 - the beach further ahead.
The only clean beach is the tourist resort , with the 'sunbathing chairs' clearly seen.
You may wonder ( only if you notice ) , what are the people doing in the sea?
They are .......( see WS2 )
Thanks for your time.

Hello Loong,
It's such a great pity that a beautiful beach like this is so full of plastic litter. I feel sorry for those two kids who have to walk through all that garbage. Most of it has probably been thrown in rivers far away and carried by the currents to this innocent beach. It's interesting to see in the WS that work is done to keep at least some beaches clean. The local fishermen are also fun to watch.
I think it has been said about Bali for a very long time that it was better 10 years ago, before it was spoiled by too much tourism. I heard that already in 1976. The "golden age" probably was before WW2. ;-)
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Loong, honestly I don't know what the fishermen are doing, maybe it is a revolutionary fishing technique or maybe they were very hot ... ahaha..i am also very surprised by the dirt of the beach, I have always thought of Bali as a paradise, but obviously also here the many years of tourist presence have left their mark. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Loong,
I like your second picture in the WS the most.
The other photos of course give a more comprehensive picture of the coast.
I have also been to an island in Cambodia (a different island from my recent photos) where certain beaches were extremely dirty. Like a dump. That while there were actually very few tourists. The dirt was not left behind by visitors but came from very far away. Ocean currents took the garbage across the oceans and seas and washed it ashore on an almost deserted island.
To keep remote coasts clean, waste must therefore be prevented from entering the sea elsewhere.
Best regards, Paul

Witaj Loong!
Interesting set of photos.
A littered beach is a sad picture of civilization!
Good frames, composition and colors.
Well done.
Good evening.

Hallo Loong
I would recommend Ubud, but if you must have a beach, perhaps the area around Padangbai (Blue Lagoon Beach, Secret Beach and Bias Tugel Beach) https://c8.alamy.com/comp/WDB4EP/stunning-view-of-the-bias-tugel-beach-near-padang-bai-in-bali-indonesia-WDB4EP.jpg
The ferry to Lombok departs from Padangbai, and Sengigi Beach is nice. The Gili Islands off shore are also worth a visit (Trawangan, Ayer and Meno). If you hire a 4wd in Mataram on Lombok you can drive to the near deserted white sand beaches at Kuta Beach Lombok. https://gateway.gilitransfers.com/content/thumbnail/OTk=
Oh, and this beach is sadly polluted. Wasn't impressed with Kuta, Legian or Lovina either. I hope the kids find something of value, or that they like. Tfs!

Hi Loong,
Nice beach and scene with these children walking, beautiful sun but very trash on the sand ! I remember the same aspect viewed during my trip in Bali and Lombok with even plastics on sand and in water ... not very pleasant plastic and bath !, tfs.

Hello Loong,
What a strong composition: what a strong message!
When beautiful places, like Bali, appear like refuse pits, we have a lot of changes to make to our lives!
These two children are the sign of innocence, the rubbish is the sign of negligence of people far away!
Thank you for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Hello Loong,
Your both WS picture are nicer than your main picture.
Certainly the action picture with fishermen is a top picture
The sea has beach made very dirty and not of tourists I think.
An excellent panorama view.
Nice composition and and good presentation
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice Easter weekend,
John

Hello Loong,
The beach and the wide water look lovely, but all that trash of course makes a very sad view. The photo is well composed with the two children at left and the boat at right.

Hello Loong, a statement about the state of our beaches and more importantly our seas.
We have to consider the fish and other sea creatures and how much of the plastic they are ingesting!
Your main picture is a sign of the times that we are living in, very appropriate for TE, and members to see this.
Three interesting pictures.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

HELLO fOXY,
It is a sad view with all this trash. I was on the beach in Seminyak, on the other side of the Denpasar, and it was OK, but somewhere near the island of Flores, there was much garbage in the sea. I looked on the map, Sanur doesn't seem an especially interesting place, so why stay there?
When I was in Zanzibar in January, the beach was impeccably clean but the tides were big, so I also preferred to swim in the pool.
Best regards MAlgo

Hello Loong,
The WS#2 worth a post as main by itself, the anglers animate the scene.
As for the title on the main post - it clearly speaks for itself, cleaning beachs is an issue we have to deal with here in Israel as well.
Anyway, nice three picture on the subject.
Good afternoon,
Ike
