Never realised how close 1 meter is to a person when you've got a camera in her face..

She was a little uncomfortable, surprise undecided look and mixed expression who was probably aware of my shutter clicking away. I truly enjoy shooting without looking at the view finder when walking pass people
with camera preset held at hip level coz, I often get so much more interesting perspective and truly natural.

A least visited island in Eastern Indonesia, venturing this remote place is to find yourself in one of those beautiful and rare undiscovered place where life flows at a traditional pace.

Shooting location: traditional market in Waiwerang, Adonara Island.

Setting: 16 mm, 1/60 sec, F7.1, ISO Raw 100, 0706 hrs

Your shooting at hip level technique worked wonders here. It's almost hard to believe this is a photo taken without looking in a view finder as it's so perfectly framed. Wonderful collection of colours and faces. It's obvious they are looking at the camera not at you!

None of these three women look very happy. They are probably annoyed that you weren't buying rambutans, bananas or cucumbers. The red umbrella provides a striking halo like frame around the bg of the woman at left. Tfs!
