Days end at Wuring fishing village on the northern coast of Flores island in Maumere bay, Sikka regency.
I love the low level lighting and the contrast between the moody dark clouds and the bright area of the sky, which I've tried to capture here
- the creepy and the joyful...

Hello Abmdsudi,

The small child is very well placed to create a focal point, showing up particularly well in the backlighting.
He creates an excellent sense of depth to the buildings on stilts and the further land under the clouds.
As you note, the light is superb for this shot.

Hello Abmdsudi, this is an interesting picture with the child totally silhouetted against the brighter part of the sky.
The dark threatening clouds cast their shadow over the scene and yet we can see all the details of the dwellings perfectly.
A memorable picture.

I really like the combination of the dark clouds and the sunlight here. They form a great backdrop for the houses on stilts in the calm water and the silhouettes of the children at left. Very well composed.

An extraordinary composition, with that group of houses on stilts, a sky with threatening clouds in the foreground, while on the horizon they are illuminated by the sun, the two children against the light in the foreground on the left is a precious complement to the whole.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly realized factors, in this precious image.
