Photographer's Note

This is a pic of a tomb on the way from Tuk-tuk to Pangururan by the Toba Lake. In Bataknese tradition, the original tribe of Samosir Island, they will put the body of their elder in one place. So when an elder died usually the oldest son and his heirs, they will put in the same tomb. There is a tradition to bring up back the bones from the grave, and put it in the proper place. The ritual called " Mangongkal Holy" means digging the bones. And its not an odd when you already has a place when you are pass away. So this tomb, is belong to a family and not all of it are occupied. Some people who supposed to be burried there still alive.

Metering = matrix, Expossure = AE, White balance = preset, Single shot, image adjustment = less contrast, Saturation = -1 and noise reduction = off.
