Photographer's Note

This is the granddaughter of the deceased queen attending her grandmother's cremation. She was carried atop a palanquin to the cremation grounds along with her brother. It was the most elaborate cremation in Ubud in many years. I posted a BW image of her earlier.

Beautiful portrait in strong light. The shadow of the curtain of the leaf is effective. Impressive vivid color in the southern country.

wow.. how were you able to get so close? She does look like a princess. She's beautiful. the way you captured here, through the leaves gives her an extra royal, mysterious feel. Excellent colours and sharpness.
