A House On The Mist, a photo from Bali, Nusa Tenggara

This picture was taken in Kintamani, Bali. Well I don't think I will describe our tiny island cus probably you will know it more than me. I was interested to this house when visit Kintamani for the first time. I was going to shoot a Mount Batur but unfortunately the foggy didn't clear up even it's 8 am.

Hi,

Very nice composition and the mist makes a wonderful addition to any photo.

However, I'm not too keen on what has become the focus point as a result of the mist -- for me it is the rather boring black/white striped curb, which is a real let-down. Unfortunately the mist is just a little too thick, or you're a little too far away, so the main feature of the composition is very much secondary.

Well done on a very impressive first post though and welcome to TrekEarth :)

This is a photo with a very mysterious atmosphere and it looks almost like a painting. I like it very much. Mount Batur will wait until your next visit ...

A beautiful image which I think is actually helped by the mist. The colours are so soft and muted. The burnt out areas are unfortunate, but I think probably unavoidable in the conditions.
