Photographer's Note
Our taxi had serious clutch problems while exploring the floor of a volcanic crater. We limped, crawled, slid backwards a few times, then crawled forward again until we reached the rim and found a mechanic's shop. These two guys were working on an air compressor next to our car.
As the photo suggests the Balinese are warm, friendly and seem pretty happy most of the time.
The shot is uncropped.

Good exposuring and nicely framed Ian. What I like the most in this portrait is that both faces are bend in the same direction. Somehow that emphasizes their friendship. Nice catch!

A very nice shot Ian. What i like most is the strong bond of freind ship that shines through the photo. They also seem very content. As Edwin mention, i to like how the heads are tiled and creates a sence of direction. Very nice.

This is a very good informal portrait Ian. Cood crop, nice exposure, not much to suggest or add.

A very nice double portrait, perfectly focussed. They look so relaxed. Their eyes are almost identical.

Wonderfully sharp & excellent tight framing! (Could even have been tighter on the right?)The glitters in their eyes makes me keeping looking at this picture...
Very, very well done Ian!

If all photos were such! Sincerity in everything, in opinion of men, in colors, in a composition of the staff. It is very good photo, I would like for you to congratulate.

This is a very good picture. I agree with you about the warmth of the Balinese. They are very good people with happy disposition and optimistic outlook in life. Their culture is also very colorful.
This shot is very clear. The colors are good framing devices.

Excellent portrait & composition. Also interesting because it highlights some cultural differences; where I come from you wouldn't see this kind of pose unless the guys were gay (or two guys were joking about being gay). The green door is a little distracting so I would consider darkening it a bit or adding a slight blur to it.

The synchronicity is very good in this shot. I doubt if they're gay. It's more of a cultural thing. People & their extended families are much closer in Sth East Asian societies. They (many Indonesians/ Balinese) thought I was strange & extremely brave for travelling alone across Lombok, Bali, Java, Sumatra & across to Singapore & up to Bkk. There's also the added danger in their view of evil spirits lurking around, so safety in numbers is the name of the game in this part of the world.
I agree with other posts that this a 'warm & fuzzy' image.

Thank goodness for the taxi or else, we wouldn't get to see this friendliness expression in men.
Your framing and composition make this photo pretty tight and fluid. And the way you made these two men comfortable with you, says a lot in this picture about how you interact with your human subject. You could make them let their guard down.
Original than the usual "say cheese" potraiture.
