Photographer's Note

A photograph that I took at Rawa Pening, the name of a lake, which is located in central java, about 1 hour drive from Semarang, the capital of central java.. or 3 hours drive from Jogjakarta.

A beautiful place to take some shoots.

Also from the Netherlands for you all the best for 2008! How would I say that in Bahasa Indonesia? ;-) Nice view. I've never been to that lake, but it reminds me of the big lakes in Sumatra I visited. I would have limited the saturation a bit, looking at the red face of the first person. But a pleasant composition!

I have to write a comment because I want to make it easy to find your site when I want to see wonderfull pictures about Indonesia. Colors being too much saturated brings some little artificial feeling , but your country is already colorfull. TFS

very beautifull photo, maybe also with the help of some retouch that permits you to keep the low part og the photo in a good light, I saw this lake today from above, from the gedeng songo temples, I didin't imagine it was such a good place for photographs, all the best
