Nikko Keitai Generation

One curious thing in Japan is that everyone carries one or more mobile phones (keitai), they call this people the 'keitai generation'. There was some guys that worked for us and they was always with two mobiles (I always called them 'denwa no hito' but they said that it means the guy that installs your telephone and not the guy who uses always a mobile), people in subway always clicking on the mobiles, sending and receiving messages (actually there is three kind of japaneses in the trains: the ones in the mobile, the ones sleeping and the other ones reading manga).

The girls in the shot was in one event near the Tosho-gu temple in Nikko. I took some time to realize that they was shotting ME with the phone (or someone else, but I believe was me, because everytime I look to them, they smile and hide the phone... I believe they was talking 'Wow, look that strange gaijin!!! Take a shot, I never saw something like that!!!', but this was not the first time...).

Someone told me (or I saw this in JapanTimes) that when a japanese teen want to 'change her life', she change her telephone number... Strange? No... there's a logic inside: she only will tell her new telephone number to the people that she want to talk, the other people that she want to avoid, she just don't tell her new phone number...

If we compare the cellphones that they use in Japan and the ones that we use here in Brazil, well, sorry, but even if you got the most new brazilian model, we are using 'jurassic park' models...
