Photographer's Note

Meiji Jingu Memorial (former). In middle of the town. 10 mins walk from Akasaka Palace. 10 mins drive from Roppongi. And 5 mins walk from my work place in Aoyama.

I see this road covered by Gingko (Ichou) trees on both sides whenever I go to lunch to Gaien side of my office. Last I went to Gaien area for lunch was on Friday 7th Dec. That is after 2 week's gap. Saw Gingko trees turned into yellow wall. Decided to visit it on following day (early) morning to capture it in my Canon. Next day at 7:00am I had a company of many shutter buggers to capture same view that I was wanting to (by now I do not get surprised if it happened as this country is full of camera lovers!).

We were trying our luck between gaps of red traffic signal on other end of the road as many vehicles were using this spectacular road to go their destinations. Few car drivers were kind enough to wait for us to complete our (adventurous!) photography.

Hope you would like it and would visit it next autumn if you are in Tokyo.
