Ebisu Tower ia the the ferris wheel, which reaches a height of 77 metres (253 ft), is built into the facade of the Dotonbori Don Quijote store branch and is decorated with an image of the god of fishermen and luck, Ebisu. Cracks were discovered in a rail, forcing it to shut down from June 2008 until it reopened on January 19, 2018 after the store spent ¥250 million to repair it. The store is just west of Tazaemonbashi, on the north bank of the canal.
