Photographer's Note
Do you know “Tokko” or “Kamikaze”?
When the condition was quite hopeless at the end of World War Ⅱ, Japan army took so crazy and unbeleivable tactic, that is “Tokko”, or “Special Attack” in Japanese language.
That was “pilots crash themselves and theier aircraft with bombs into US warships(mainly aircraft carriers)”. Of course this tactic meant pilot’s death 100% and by this tactics 1036 pilots (mainly 20 years old) died.
This Peace Museum is bulit to spread this tragedy to all and tranqlise their seouls at the aircraft base where thses pilots departued, at the far south of Kyuushuu island of Japan.
From my youth age I strongly wanted to visit but no chance until yesterday due to far distance. But fortunately I had business trip nearby, so yesterday I could be there.
In the entrance of this museum, this oil paints is taken on the wall. The piolt seems to be held by Japanese angles warmly in the heaven.
This was taken by I phone and light condition was bad so I regret not to convey this impressive impact to all friend fully.
Not only me but also other visiters cannot move for a moment when we see this impressive.
When I visited there. so many tourists from overseas were there.

Hello Takero,
The quality is not quite up to your usual level, but the message of the photo is well captured. The theme may be controversial, but it is nevertheless a touching scene. I didn't know there was such a museum, so this photo has taught me something. The note is informative.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonjour Takero,
Je ne suis pas très amateur de photos prises dans les musées car l'oeuvre appartient à quelqu'un d'autre ,mais j'aime bien celle-ci à cause des textures et de l'histoire.
Amicalement

Pak Takero YTH
The legendary Mitshubishi Zero, KMZ pilot and the Angels! Fantastic piece of artwork & a wonderful bit of imagination really impressed capture under natural light and wonderful tones. Love the thought that has gone into this, the Red Circle looks exactly right and the shape of the aircraft looks authentic. Inside your head Pak, that explains everything. Fab shot.
Best regards
