Photographer's Note
I discovered it as I was travelling the world myself, that when it really matters, you take what you get, when you get it.
I sat around Hakata railstation in Fukuoka back in 2012 when I spotted this gentleman enjoying his meal on the station platform. Enjoying his meal, and it almost looked like he had the world entirely to himself.
When finally the meal was over, he just jumped on to the first train that arrived.
Chance or calculated? Who knows.

Hej Odd,
Gert

Hi Odd Jarle
I like the everyday life pictures showing how people behave in the real life, what are their habits... A few minutes rest in front of a good warm soup or sure
Cheers

A fine everyday scene picture, Odd Jarle. The kind of things I like most about travelling are often this kind of scenes (although it doesn't look all that comfortable eating like that).

Hello Odd, a spontaneous shot that gives a real impression of the station.
Good sharp focusing on the man with a good bokeh.
The light is really well managed.
Interesting notes too.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Odd
So nice human story shot from you. This image might convey some pasos to our friends, but I think such situation is quite common in Japan and I also sometimes used this stand restaurant. Framework and exposure are so fantatsic to see.
All the best abd have a good day! Takero

Hi Odd
I like these everyday type of daily life scenes. They aren't spectacular or anything like that, but they're interesting and capture the moment of everyday people going about their business. I like that. Who knows where this man is now haha
great capture

Hello Odd Jarle,
The story to the photo is good, but what sells the picture are the beautiful nocturne lights. Nicely captured!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Great candid photo of daily life at this busy location. Great framing and lighting, especially the illuminated purple décor in the background, which makes it a bit softer and less "gritty" somehow. Very nice capture!
