Photographer's Note
After the waterfall, we "tuk-tuk'd" back to Luang Prabang and up to Phosi Temple, with the best view over the city. At night this temple is lit up, so it serves almost like a lighthouse where it stands alone on top of the hill. During the day, it has a 360 degrees view where you can also see the Mekong River. Here I turned my camera the other way, to a typical Laotian street.
As you can see, motorcycles own the roads here. The houses are spread out and the different kinds of trees are all over the place. This is one of my favourite cities in Southeast Asia and it's well worth a visit. The night market also adds to my impression.
