Photographer's Note

Not your usual shot of the PETRONAS Twin Towers, but rather, a close up shot of one of them.

The Towers are majestic by day and dazzling at night. They feature multi-faceted walls of 33,000 stainless steel and 55,000 glass panels. Vision Glass, specialised panels with light filtering and noise reduction properties, provide a comfortable inner environment. The glass is covered by stainless steel visors to further protect visitors from the tropical sun.

Each Tower is set back five times in its ascent to maintain the vertical axis and tapering of the design. The walls of the uppermost floors are also sloped inward to taper and meet the pinnacle.

Hello May,
WOW is the first word coming to my mind when I see this fabulous photo.Really great how you used the tilted perspective here.It adds some kind of dynamism to the scene.Also taking this picture at night was a superb idea.Just love the color scheme of it by night.Captivating view of this amazing skyscraper.Brillaint work!(I hope it´s not your last photo of Petronas Towers.looks like a great subject for photographers)

very different, very unique.
Thats what makes architectural photo's stand out among OHTER architectural shots.
I'd be very proud to have this one in my own gallery :)

useful info in the note too, love seeing the whites and brights in contrast to the darks.

I saw this one this morning (Melbourne time) and I intended getting back to it. A creative take on an otherwise predictably photographed pair. Excellent definition and contrasts.An enigmatic photo if one didn't know the subject matter. Regards. Klaudio.
