Photographer's Note
This is a picture taken from atop Penang Hill. To get there, you have to take the furnicular train which will take about 45 minutes to reach more than 400 meters above sea level.
At the top, there are some interesting things to do but usually, people go there to enjoy the panoramic view of Penang island. From there, you can also see the other part of the Penang state which is called Butterworth. It is also known as mainland Penang.
The top part of the picture is Butterworth while the bottom part is Penang island. Penang island can be reached from Butterworth via the 13km Penang Bridge which is Asia's 3rd longest bridge. The other way is to take the ferry service which commute between mainland and the island regularly.
Cargo ships can dock either on the island side (Swettenham Pier) or the mainland side (North Butterworth Container Terminal).
I took this picture on a tripod at 7:30pm and set the exposure to 2 seconds to capture all the lightings of the building on both sides. If you look closely, there is a big flaw in the picture which I'm not going to tell you ;)
I like this picture and I hope you like it oo.
Cheers!

Very nice view, and well exposed night shot. The wasn't working when I was there. If I go again, I'll definately try to catch this view.

A nice panoramic nightshot of Penang, with good exposure and sharpeness. I like this view who was taken just before sunrise. A good shot, well done.

I used to live and work here 18 years ago. And I with my girlfriend then, used to see this same view minus the glittering lights and new buildings from where you were. And we used to walk all over the streets or naik becha. At that time, I worked for a company at Dermaga Air Dalam. Yes, I like this photo and I hope you don't mind me making my favorite. You see, photography is about keeping memories. Someday you would like to see it again. You did good here.

Nice night shot! I was there but few year ago, but didn't get a good camera to capture this beautiful night view.
You did a good exposure for it. Wonder if Penang Bridge is also in your other picture?

Hello Yahwen,
Excellent night urban view. Amazingly sharp and well light. Great night colour sky.
It also shows how modern and well organized your country is. I was there for only 4 days earlier this year and I was really impressed by the achievments of your country. Trully an example to follow by countries like mine.
Regards
Daniel
