~ tired of waiting ~, a photo from Shan, North

Photographer's Note

While on a morning photo walkabout in the old hill town of Maymyo, Central Burma. I came across several examples of antique Anglo-Burmese buildings around town, the majority of which appeared to be still quite
well maintained. I simply couldn't resist clicking away to this splendid vintage of the balcony of a two-storey shophouse building offering some fine architecture and craftsmanship in their build. Quite a fascinating feeling in actual fact.

Taken from across the road, thought she was the right target filling the empty space after much of waiting game. Hope you find the shot to your liking much as it pleased me viewing it again in the comfort of my
armchair.

Setting: 70 mm, 1/100 sec, F16, ISO Raw 200, 1043 hrs

A good daily life scene capturing the woman at the railing impatiently waiting for someone or something to arrive. A good upward pov with excellent sharpness & nice repetitive patterns in the iron lace railing. Tfs!

Hello Abmdsudi, the woman completes this picture as she stands there watching the world go by. The items on the washing line balance the scene.

Brilliant combination of architectural and people themes. I like the pattern of the balcony and the negative space above it is filled with the person, and also the washing, both clearly seen on the dark background.
