Photographer's Note

Situated at North of Kathmandu near the Tibetan border Langtang Valley is the most picturesque and unspoiled national parks of Nepal. The whole trail provides amazing views and impressions. Langtang Lirung is the highest peak of the Langtang Himal. The best place to see his majesty is from the peak of Kyangin Ri or from Kyanjin Gompa - summer settlement, with small gompa and little cheese factory.
Almost every peak in Himalayas is decorated with prayer flags. It brings a special atmosphere and vivid colours to this place. Himalayas people believe that when the wind blows the flags, it spreads the blessings across the whole land.

A good POV to feature both prayer flags and Langtang Lirung. The deep blue of the sky is another indication of the high altiutde of the scene ! Thank you for this invitation to visit this place...

An evocative picture, very impressive peaks indeed.

Are those the real colours of prayer falfs? Were they in shadow or is it because they are dirty?

A portait crop could also be interesting.

Hi Kinga,
Very colors scene with the multi colored prayer cloths leading the eye to the rugged mountains.
The fine clouds and snow at the peak really contrast brilliantly with the vivid blue sky.
Excellent clairty and sharpness to this beautiful mountains scenery.

Dobry rano Kinga,
Deep blue of the sky makes luminous white stand out beautifully, and a bit darker exposure on prayer flags enhances the shining effect further.
This original version has a stronger attractive power than your workshop, i feel.

Congratulations for this beautiful mountain's picture! The colors are great, the sharpness too, but the most beautiful is your composition: simply the best. The flags are driving the eye into the picture, toward the main summit.

Very impressive viewpoint on these summits, I'm fond of the dark blue sky ! Good idea to add the colored flags on the first plan ! Excellent sharpness too.

Czesc Kinga,
wow, to moze byc najlepsze zdjecie z Nepalu jakie widzialem. Szczerze mowiac Nepal kojarzy mi sie jak dotad dosyc monotonnie. Tutaj kolory powoduja prawdziwy zawrot glowy i bynajmniej nie mam na mysli pstrokatych choragiewek ale wlasnie powierzchnie gor. Ich rzezba i odcienie sa po prostu bajeczne a wszystko kontrastuje mocno z dobrze nasyconym niebiem.
Bardzo urokliwe miejce wspaniale zaprezentowane.
