Patan: Temple Jagannarayan

"Considered the oldest temples of the place, it dates back to 1565, although the late 1600s has also been suggested. The temple stands on a brick base flanked by two large stone lions, above which stand the two guards. Roof struts are adorned with erotic sculptures. "

This temple was completely destroyed during the earthquake of 25 April 2015,
With this temple disappear masterpieces of erotic sculpture in wood.

Cette image est la tribut parfait pour garde la memoir sur ces qui ont perdu touts dans cette terrible tragédie en Nepal.
C'est bien dommage que cette belle temple a saisi d'existé.
J'espère que la Nepal arrive a tomber sur ces pied après le desastre bien vite.

Excellent photo series from Nepal. It was really terrible tragedy, I can imagine this damage for nation and architecture of this small poor country.
