Fantastic photograph! The colours, POV and movement of the horse are all great. The concentration of the man's face also adds to the picture. I hope you got out of the way before you got hit!

Never seen you pictures before, so a very late welcome to TE is on his place.
I was attracked by your high class action shot and browsed a but further through your gallery. Seems you know what you are doing in your work, not only in colour and composition, but camera skills and technology is very high. Your first one with the panning horse is wonderful, but also this one is not easy to make and you did a really fantastic job here. The concentration of the man and his pose, the right moment, just before the catch, the horse straight to us, but most of all the sand all over, that brings the best action in this photo.
I see a 40D in your profile, would like to see some more info on aperture and shutter but also the lens?
A high class action shot...superb..!!!

Hello Nadeem,
This is an absolutely superb image which reflects the speed and action of the horse and rider. You have obviously used a zoom lens, therefore the clarity you have achieved is amazing, and the colours too are exceptional. I lke the simpicity of colours....only white, browns and pink, and the spray of sand in the air adds such good emotion to the photo. Very well done.

Lovely action shot for this horse rider, especially the dust and flying dirt in the air, it gives a good sense of tense movement and speed.

The focus is sharp and spot on the rider, and horse, with very good DOF.

Good blur BG and color contrast.

Hi Nadeem,
Everything about this photo is perfect, the sense of movement, the colours, the out-of-focus background and the flying sand and dirt, but what really makes it for me is the concentration on the rider's face and the way he is totally focused on the peg.
