Good Friday activities in Pampanga and Angeles City -in the Northern part of Luzon bring out several catholic devotees that practice flagellation as part of atoning for their sins. A parade of flagellants visit designated churches and go through a series of rites. The culminating activity is the actual crucifixion of three devotees on actual crosses. This was taken in Pampang, Angeles Pampanga but there is a bigger ceremony in Cutud -which swells with too many devotees.

Hi Jude,
A strong and dramatic image as he lies in the shape of the cross and with the blood covering his back. Good sharp focus and I like the dark colours of the shot too.
