Photographer's Note

Few places on this earth are better than this beach if you are seeking warm weather and sandy beaches. Boracay is a name given to this place around 1542 when Spanish sailors walked ashore here and found the coralline sand to be so soft on your feet, it felt like cotton, which is where the name Boracay is derived. Around 470 years later this beach is still beautiful to walk along, and the people that live here have some of the characteristics of those early settlers, in both appearance and friendly temperament as in "happy disposition".

The land in the distance is the larger island of Panay.
