Photographer's Note

These are Ifugao elders, no longer young or strong enough to work at the rice fields of Banaue.

They usually stay at the Banaue Rice Terraces Viewpoint area, obliging to sing Ifugao songs and chants to educate and entertain visitors. They are very much approachable, and they speak good english; most of the time, they are the ones who initiate friendly discussions with visitors. After their songs, or after having their pictures taken with the visitors, a small tip would be usually given voluntarily by the visitors.

This is my 4th post about Banaue, Ifugao: the rice terraces and the people.
