Photographer's Note
this is another form of transport mod Filipinos particularly in the south have "invented". It is different from my earlier post because the wooden plank is configured perpendicular to the motorbike's body. That is why it is often referred to as 'skylab', after the space station in the 80's.

i have never ever seen such kind of motorbike. but i wonder what would happen if you have odd number of pillion riders? how come the man driving the bike would balance it? well done walter.

what is it? i have never seen such kind of byke in my life. moreover it is very risky tio travel like this. you have really captured a very unique and not so common scene.

indeed as the saying goes- necessity is the mother of invention! i remember i saw one like this in our barrio and people referred this as "habalhabal" but the young generations call it "skylab". next time i am home, i am gonna take a ride on one, what the heck! a humorous upload!
