This is one of my oldest "surviving" photos, made more than 23 years ago... (It shows a detail of Novodevichy Convent). I was a high school student and it was my first encounter with another culture (at that time we were not allowed to travel freely in the world outside the communist bloc). It was an interesting experience, even if not entirely positive. But some nice memories remain too, together with a few pictures. I have found them today in a long-forgotten box, so it was a very nice surprise for me.

The photo was in horrible conditions, full of scratches and strongly faded. I had to use many Photoshop tools to restore it.
