Long ago, in VIII century, in the lands near the shores of Volga River already existed some cities, and one of them was Rostov, which later got a name Rostov the Great. It's standing on the shore of lovely Nero Lake, and today it's small and sleepy town.
From the water of Nero Lake one can see long line of churches, towers and walls - so-called Rostov Kremlin.

Î÷åíü êðàñèâûé âèä ñ ïðîòèâîïîëîæíîãî áåðåãà îçåðà!
Òîëüêî ñòîèò ëè ïëîäèòü ðàçíûå íàçâàíèÿ äëÿ îäíîãî è òîãî æå ãîðîäà? Ïðîñòî Rostov óæå áûë â ñïèñêå ïî ßðîñëàâñêîé îáëàñòè.

Nice photo of Rostov from the lake. Fantastic view of the Kremlin with all those historical buildings. I like the colours very much, excellent sharpness. Regards

Hi Uhu,
Interesting picture even though it all appears so small. It's cool to know that repairs works are going on too because it helps me plan my own trip! I'll avoid Rostov this year!
