Photographer's Note

View of Spaso-Yakovlevsky (Saviour-Iakov) monastery courtyard from the one of it's towers. Here's to the left is a Church of Conception of St. Anna (1686, with addings in XIX century) and St Iakov church (1824). Monastery stands on the shore of Nero Lake and looks quite lovely from it's waters.

Very beautiful picture. You found a way to capture the entire ensemble, the converging verticals have been well controlled due to the height you took this shot from, and the sky is really lovely. Really nice!

Nice composition here including both buildings in the scene. The shot has nice balance with the angle creating a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with nice sharpness and detail.

Hi Uhu, An excellent composition with two fine buildings rather than one. The turrets are the major element of interest but the colours including the sky makes this a very good, balanced photograph. TFS. Murray.
