Cupolas in a row, a photo from Saint Petersburg, Northwest

Photographer's Note

Nikolsky Monastery in Old Ladoga first mentioned in chronicles in XIII century, but its first building, Church of St. Nicolay the Thaumaturge, made in 1240. Bell-tower built in XVII century and in XIX century Church of John Chrysostom was added. 15 years ago all was in more or less ruined state, now most of the buildings look fresh and nice.

Hi,
Nice colours but I think the angle is not the best. We don't see much of the two buildings behind the red ones.

Hi Uhu. Good POV and beautiful blue sky as backdrop makes this one of the best to date. The bold colours and interesting roof line are excellent as it the clarity. Good presentation. Murray.

The monastery is beautiful and the light conditions were perfect, which resulted in nice colours and good contrasts. Hoever I cropped some pixels from the left and the bottom to exclude the rain-pipe and the top of an arch. Please, see the workshop.
