Photographer's Note
Taken from the arch of Anderson Bridge, which was build in 1906 when the nearby Cavenagh bridge became too small due to the booming Singapore commerce. This is the mouth of the Singapore river, and entrance to the Boat Quay area. In the foreground is the 6 star Fullerton Hotel, which was once the GPO.

A very well composed scene, John. The POV through the archway is most effective and I like the colour and rendering of the walkway. The building's details are clear and ornate. Well captured and presented.

Hi John;
Nice shot! Very imaginative POV you've managed here, interesting angle on the bridge- with the grandeur of The Fullerton behind...
Well done mate!

Very nicely seen shot John, and another chance for me to kick myself. All the times I've crossed that bridge, and never thought of that shot. Exellent control of exposure here.

An exquisite framing on this one, John. The foreground arch was utilized for the composition at the very best (I like the inclusion of the lamp at the top). The view towards the bridge and hotel is well enhanced by the delicate way in which the sunlight accentuates the details. Good job.
