Unique Eyes, a photo from Taipei, North

Photographer's Note

I know that taking easy photos of wildlife in a Taipei Zoo is not something to be proud of.

But this Brown Lemur is so special that i feel compel to share it. It has a blue right and orange left eye, while the normal Brown Lemur has either a pair of blue eyes or orange yellow eyes.

I hope it is not suffering from any diseases or perhaps a gene mutation that cause this?!

Hi Ralf,
What a unique little face. A very cute and cuddly little animal but I think I would be spooked out if I woke and saw those eyes staring at me :)
You captured excellent detail in his fur, and he presented an excellent pose for you.
