Photographer's Note
people cooling off in the river at wenshan hot springs in beautiful taroko national park. the little girl seemed especially relaxed.
the pools are carved out of the mountain side right next to the rushing river at the bottom of the gorge. i took this shot from a narrow and wobbly suspension bridge about 100 feet (30 m) above, one of the reasons for lack of clarity.
iso 200 at 135 mm fl. cropping usm, levels and contrast adjusted.

I love the two intersecting curves of the rocks and the people which cross perfectly, nicely framed - also the colour that the little girl's costume brings to an otherwise 'flesh and grey' picture is just right. Her pose says it all!

Beautiful shot Mark,
I like the way people are placed in the frame using the diagonal. What I appreciate also is the girl who brings a touch of colour in the shot.
Well seen and done

Hi Mark, this is a nice idea man. I like the diagonal the people make in the frame (except for the girl--which is a little disconcerting) and the curve made by the rocks. But I do think that the crop is too tight (esp up top by the woman) and I wish the sharpness was a bit better. A polarizing filter might have been cool too.
Anyways, this is a good pic man!

Nice angle to take this shot of. The way that the people are all in a line on an angle in the image, and then having the little girl standout by herself is great.

Superb compo Mark. I like the several expression you have taken and of course the contrast between all those men and the little girl.
Bravo.

ooooooh this one is amazing mark..
your viewpoint is so fantastic and it's allowed to to compose the photograph beautifully..
somehow everything in the photograph seems to be synchronised really well
and the girl in the yellow dress really stands out not only because she's physically different and clothed differently , but it's also becuase she seems to be the most relaxed one thinkin "life is good" in her head.
this photograph for me is almost an epitome for of contentment
very well done
take care :)
