Moving tide, a photo from Gaoxiong, South

Photographer's Note

After waiting for couple months, the colorful clouds ended up showing up in Hsitzu Bay before the sunset. The low sun cast a golden glow on the shore. The colorful moving tide led the viewer into the rocks and the sun at the background. The light was fading fast; I had few minutes to capture the movement of the tide.

I love the slowed effect of the water and the large area of space on the bottom of the photo here Jim. The effect and the reflection of the sun have produced a very nice image.

What strength ND filter have you been using for you sunset shots Jim? Try a stronger one to get more of the misty effect. ND 8 should do the trick!
