Sunsets are always good but an industrial background is not good and the black blob in the foreground could have been removed or the photo cropped.

Hi RS
fantastic colors POV,DOF and sharpness.
I liked the great composition with the water mainly in the down side of the image, mainly in the wet sand..
well done.

I can't agree with LL - industrial landscapes make great subjects, especially when silhouetted against a sunset sky.
While the log does serve to anchor the foreground quite well, I don't like it's central position.
The slight tilt to the right is a bit of a distraction, and the colours seem quite over-saturated to me, even for a spectacular sunset like this. I'm also not too keen on the square boxy format - try keeping it more towards the classic 3:2 ratio, in landscape or portrait format.
Good attempt, but more attention to framing and less saturation needed in my opinion.
Cheers,
Ben
