Naturally framed paradise., a photo from Phuket, South

Photographer's Note

Just playing around with naturally framing this awesome beach near to Patong on the Island of Phuket, Thailand. I think maybe ive got too much of the trees silhouetted in there, but im not so sure. Ill go back to try it with some fill-in flash to get some colour in them, but the weather at this time of year isnt very conducive to it.

i think the trees are a bit dark but as you sat a perfect natural frame to a very nice picture. adrian

As you say a natural frame; I like this kind of photo, but also, as you say, the "frame" is too dark. I wonder how it would work if you took your exposure from the trees; would the light in the background be strong enough to cope? Alternatively by zooming in more, there would be less trees, and while still creating a frame would be less intrusive.
Just a case of experimenting until you are satisfied.

I love tthe window effect on what seems to be a real paradise. Great colors. Yes, I would have cropped a little bit more of the trees, but is a matter of taste!
