Photographer's Note

Erawan Walkway at Bangkok.

Around 8.30 am in the morning, I am out for some photo-hunting.

The sight of what you see in the picture moved me and continues to do so each time I have a look at it.

On the floor is the man with no arms and no legs. Possibly,he is placed there by someone and this is how he remains the whole day. As the day progresses, the footfalls over the walkway increases and he, while begging, witnesses and experiences the Power of Abundance in others. The Abundance of Mobility that the others have. How Contrasting! Plenty of beautiful sexy and fit legs around, but none for him.

Will it be worthwhile to say that the Depth of Deprivation can also be understood by the Power of Abundance? All this, amidst the ignorant laughter shown in the carrybag, so very iconic of the worldly sarcasm towards partially abled human beings.
