‘Colours of a Thai temple complex’

Here two more pictures of the extraordinarily colourful temple complex in Wat Tham Sua, not far from Kanchanaburi town and one pic of the surrounding fields seen from the plateau on which the temples are built.

Very remarkable is that several stupa in the complex have been built in different styles.
There’s also a large Buddha statue that is visible from afar. A photo will follow on another day.

It is worth mentioning that you can also go up by cable car.
However, the stairs in my previous photos looked more difficult than they actually were. I chose the stairs.

The province of Kanchanaburi in Thailand is a mostly rural area with beautiful landscapes. I didn't immediately see overcrowded places.
Kanchanaburi is located in Central Thailand and in the west it borders Myanmar.
