Photographer's Note

This is Aishwarya, an Indian student in our school. During the Cultural Week, she presented a dance number along with 3 other Indian girls. After their number, I edged closer to them and took this shot of her while they were waiting for the final number.

Sometimes, good phtotos are done in the backstage. I chose this color tone because there are so many colors in the background and they took away the focus from her beautiful eyes.

Nice photo of her alluring glance, Manny. I like the look over her shoulder, and her glistening eyes. Also a good post-treatment with the richly contrasted sepia, as a result of which her beauty seems to be enhanced even more.

Another beautifully captured portrait image and brilliantly executed sephia tonning.
Her beautiful smile with that sparkling teeth and her watering eyes have created the contrast against the tonning. And most of the, the reflection of her pupils are very lively taken.

Great portrait, the eyes are stunning, but so is the skin tone and her teeth. I think your choice of colour tone is a good one, it just wounldn't have the same punch in colour.

Gorgeous, she's really gorgeous, she ought to be a Bollywood star.
To be real frank I didn't enjoy much your recent portraits because I had th efeeling you were experimenting something (partial desaturation or toning) that looked more like a trick to me rather than concentrating on photo.

Here you got a real lighting scheme, the lovely edges of light on her cheek and nose, and also a perfect timing the gives a sense of LIFE into your portrait. (whereas, I thought that on the most recent ones, your lens had pinned the girl on the frame like an insect on a board).

Toning and contrast are wonderful too, fits very well the "classical" indian mood.
Really a good one from you.

This one is exceptionnaly splendid Manuel.

The light softly splashes along the side of her skin in a very elegant manner. Her eyes are hypnotizing.

What a good portrait shot!
I appreciate the sharpness of the eyes and mouth, the way the lady is looking at you, and the fact that you have a clear area on the left of her face which underlines her profile.
Good thing to have it also in sepia. Put in my favorites.
