Photographer's Note

I shot this image of Wat Rathburana in Ayuthaya, Thailand a few years back. Auythaya Historical Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is located about 1 1/2 hour train ride north from Bangkok and is one of the best day drips you can do from the capital. This place was the former Royal Capital of Thailand. It is encircled by the Lopburi river. The ruins, some dating back to the 14th century are scattered all over the city. The best way to see the ruins is by renting a bike and peddling at your own pace from temple to temple.
