In the capital city of Tashkent, on a local market, i shot this woman selling some fresh eggs. The original in color, but i prefer the sepia version. see the color original on ws. What do you think? comments welcome

The original shot is rather dark and distant, your work on the photo has brought the subject out very nicely.

I like the woman's expression and her very pleasant face. I'm not sure I'd have cropped in this far given the lack of sharpness in the scan, but I like the sepia, especially given the bright light on her face.

This is a very good portrait Eric. I like the sharpness in her look. She also has a really nice face, looks like a nice lady.

Très beau portrait. La version sépia apporte un plus à la composition. J'aime le regard de cette femme avec ses yeux qui pétillent. Il est dommage Eric de ne pas utiliser plus de Ko pour vos photos, vous avez le droit jusqu'à 200 ko. Je suis persuadé que les photos seraient encore plus valorisées.

i like colors and pattern on her dress and scarf in original,
original photo look little bit dark
and i wouldn't cut her had :)

Well chosen version, but I think you could improve the skintones here. It looks almost like taken with a flash, and you could improve it I think by pulling more carefully in levels or curves...

It is a really nice shot. Since I live in Tashkent it seems to me from your photo that I personally met her.
