Photographer's Note
The traffic in Ho Chi Minh city is insane with motorcycles, scooters and mopeds.
Apparently there are all over the streets ( pavements ) , it's not fun when you
need to cross a street as a pedestrain.
As our hotel just around the corner where I took this picture.
We found a nice roof-top restaurant with a view of HCM city.
The tallest skyscraper ( in this picture ) is the Bitexco Financial Tower and
the left bottom with a clock is the Cho Ben Thanh market.
The photo in the WS1 was taken in the Quach Thi Trang park in the front
of the roundabout ( seen in main photo ).
The roof-top restaurant in WS2 - overlooking the city. You also paid for the 'view' :-)
Thanks for your time.

Hi Loong, the photo cost you extra in the dinner but the view was really excellent. And you made the most of the occasion with two beautiful compositions captured with great quality of details and colors. Also interesting is the street level view of Ho Chi Min's animated night. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Loong,
I've never been in Ho Chi Minh City but I do remember the busy traffic in Hanoi where a pedestrian actually takes a risk by crossing certain streets. HCM City has even more inhabitants and consequently more motorcycles.
You present us here two splendid blue hour shots and an equally beautiful nocturnal picture of the giant metropolis in the south of the country.
I see that HCM City has a much more modern skyline than Hanoi.
Taken on excellent viewpoints.
Very well executed.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Loong
We stayed in the old part of town where there were less cars but many, many mad bike riders but at least the streets were narrower.
A good night time photo of a great if crazy city.
cheers

Hello Loong,
I was in HCM the last time in 2008, so I think a lot had already changed when you took these photos. But even in the darkness, and from this angle, I recognize the nearest area in front of the Cho Ben Thanh market. You made an amazing collection of differently coloured lights and silhouettes of high-rise buildings in this roof top view. In both WS you captured the exciting atmosphere in closer views. The three photos are all very sharp and well exposed and bring me fond memories of "Saigon" (as I still know the city).
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Loong
I bet the restaurant was a busy place pre-covid. Our world has come so far in many ways and regressed in others. Trying to find perfection is always a daunting task. I do enjoy the view of modern Vietnam as you have shown. Beautiful.

Hello Loong,
The city, with all its brightly lit skyscrapers and moving traffic, like the lights on a pinball machine, looks quite amazing from this viewpoint!
It can also be said that you can watch the traffic, weaving about, whilst in complete safety! (I have experienced trying to cross busy multi-laned roads, where you take your like in your hands!) Maybe the extra cost was worth the safety!
Just the size of the vehicles gives us an idea of the height of your rooftop restaurant!
I like the views of the rooftop, too!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

A great night shot of the city with lots of small lights, which you captured very well and sharp and which stand out nicely from the darkness.

Hi Loong
yes, my memories of travelling to these parts of the World is the busyness and the activity that never seems to stop, even at 2 or 3 in the morning there are many honks and beeps from the street traffic. A fine overview of the city, I always enjoy these, there's alot to see and keep us interested.
cheers

Hello Loong,
Some 46 years after a devastating war, and this town became a vibrant modern city.
An excellent night photo, clear and distinct with glittering lights against the dark sky.
Good afternoon,
Ike

Hi Loong,
Wow! Quite a change since 2004 when I was last there. Lots of new highrise and neon. Good sharpness and there also seem to be a lot more cars on the roads instead of motorcycles and rickshaws. Tfs!
