Photographer's Note
The whole old town of Hoi An is a world heritage site and is like a living museum. It was one of SouthEast Asia's major international ports from the 17th to the 19th centuries, and was an important port of call for Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Japanese aswell as other trading vessels.

Hello Wanda,
A very decorative composition where the faded wall gains a certain beauty thanks to the red bike.
A good observation. It's also a funny coincidence that you posted this picture from Vietnam a few seconds before I posted another picture from the same country, both featuring the word "wall" in the title.
Regards,
Gert

I know you like bicycle photos Wanda, and this is a fine example of the genre - I like how you placed the bike right at the bottom of the frame, giving plenty of room for those wonderful faded textures on the wall.
Would have been better without whatever it is that's poking into the frame at bottom left, but not much you could have done about that while maintaining the symmetrical framing on the bike.
Nicely done - I like it.
Cheers,
Ben

Interesting Hoi An catch. The wall is so tipycal, yellow and decayed. I like very much the vertical compo with the red bicycle at the bottom. Very well seen.

Hi Wanda,
Nice composition. Interesting subject, you have a great eye! Makes me wonder about the person the bike belongs to and what their story is! TFS

Olá Wanda,
Good effect of the old wall and the bycicle.Good colors. I only think that the bycicle could be more in the left side or right side of the photo, this is not so centered.

Hi Wanda,
this wall has seen a lot. Interesting structure, and good background for the bicycle - says a lot about the city.

Simple and effective Wanda - this works really well. And I think the technical aspects of the photo are spot on. No signs of PP or oversharpening!!

I like these old walls, which are sometimes very colored like a painter table.
The presence of the bike is a nice contrast and it fits verywell

Hello Wanda,
Excellent caught of splendid old textured wall with a well contrasted red bicycle. Dark to yellow, dirty tones increase opposite feeling with new bicycle. Clarity of photo and sharpness are perfect, congratulations.
Best Regards,

Hi Wanda,
you were able to make a perfect capture of the wall texture which can tell about many histories if you can read inside...
Very nice composition with the red bicycle.

Wanda,
the last shot that I critiqued in your collection was also dedicated to bicycles and here we are back with the same theme, although this is quite distinct compared to the previous. A minimalistic work that opens the fantasy to fill the story behind the scene. The contrast between the fairly new bike and the old wall gives a great shot.

Hi Wanda,
that red bike before the wall (in which colour? I can't tell you.) is pretty well seen and captured. Very good formatted impression by the vertical choice.

Hello Wanda,
I'm easily seduced by bikes on old walls!!:D The dirty old wall, very textured, wires going through...wow!! That's perfect for me!!! It really is the kind of shots I take every 2 minutes when on a trip!:D This one is on top of the list of the best bikes and walls pics;)
too bad that this thing at the bottom left gets into the frame...But like Ben said, there is not much you can do about it.
see you,
Marc

Hi Wanda,
Wandaful shot, minimalist, graphic and catchy.
What stands out is the bike, because of the cool composition and red colour, but the wall brings all the richness of the image, through fabulous textures.
Hope life is good with you and that you have electricity...
Ciao!

Good title. This photo captures the grit and the texture of this wall very well. The vertical composition works well to in capturing the different textures at each zone of the wall. The bike is nice center of interest. Well done.

hello Wanda,
excellent photo, I like a lot how the simple composition lets the attention focus on the captivating colours and textures of the wall and contrast between the bright red of the bike and pastel colours of the pealing paing. very well seen and presented.

Looks like an abstract . The vertical format is perfect .
This composition do have an artistic approach.
This high wall is little amusing with the peeling painting and the bullet ridden like holes . Great work TFS!
