Photographer's Note
This interesting artwork is on the wall of the Ministry of Interior building on Revolution Square in Havana, Cuba. It is a steel single line replica of the famous Alberto Korda photograph of Che Guevara, and was made by Cuban artist Enrique Avila Gonzales. The words “Hasta la Victoria Sempre” (Onward forever to victory) are in Che’s handwriting. Che Guevara. Ernesto “Che” Guevara de la Serna (1928 - 1967) was an Argentine doctor, revolutionary, and a socialist. He helped Fidel Castro to win the Cuban Revolution, and was killed in Bolivia while fighting in a revolution there.

Hello Barnabas,
A minimalist work of art but the image is clearly recognizable to everyone.
Beautiful with the shadow lines on the wall that give the artwork extra depth.
Best regards, Paul
